China Adoption Tour
The Don Conners adopted two Chinese babies from an orphanage in
Leping country of Hunan Province in 1997. Now the children are grown
up. The Don Conners thought that they should know where they were
born and go back to their hometown to have a look. They found many
travel agencies to design their tour, but most of agents wouldn¡¯t
like to help them because the purpose of the trip is not for sightseeing.
The travel agents have to do a lot of additional work. Finally,
they found us through the Internet (Google.com).
At first, we contacted the orphanage in Hunan
Province and double-checked the information provided by the Don
Conners. And then we designed a private tour based on their schedule
and requests. The private tour would be the best choice for them
(two adults with two children age of 4) The tour is very flexible
on the travel date and daily activities.
They fly to HK from US and stayed two nights there
for jet-leg. In order to lower the cost, we didn¡¯t arrange direct
flight from HK to Hunan Province. We suggested them take soft seat
train from HK to Guangzhou and fly to Nanchang on the same day.
We booked a connecting room with four single beds for the party
so that the parents can take good care of their children. In addition
to, we also arranged a mini-van with nine seats for them throughout
the tour, the place is big enough for four people and luggage. Since
the tour is totally private, they will be met at each airport and
railway station. They didn¡¯t have to worry about anything as the
local tour guides would take care everything such as hotel check-in,
tickets booking, meals, car service and so on.
The next day, they got to Leping by train in the
early morning, a small city near Nanchang. They visited the orphanage
in Leping country with their guide and took pictures with the staff
in the orphanage. This is the first time for their children to visit
their birthplace. To their surprise, we arranged a half-day tour
for them, which is very interesting for children. They walk around
the local markets and bought some porcelain as souvenirs. They were
very happy with the arrangement. It was what they just want to do.
In the following days, they took flight to Nanning to visit their
old friends and then took train back to HK.
We got an email from the Don Conners after
the tour is over. They said in the letter:¡± We had a great time
in China. Whatever you said you'd do, you did it, very credible.
Accommodations were great. Very professional! Again, you are very
reliable and professional. Thank you very much for making our trip
so enjoyable and memorable. We won¡¯t never forget¡±.
